A well-established insurance agency is seeking an experienced accounting professional to assume a leadership role. This hands-on position is well-suited for someone who enjoys overseeing day-to-day accounting operations while providing guidance and support to a small team within a collaborative agency environment. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all accounting operations for the agency

Lead and support a small accounting team

Prepare and review producer statements and commissions

Manage payroll processing and related reporting

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across financial processes

Partner with leadership on financial reporting and operational needs

Support system usage and optimization within AMS360
Qualifications:

Prior accounting experience within an insurance agency strongly preferred

Experience using AMS360 highly desirable

Proven ability to manage accounting functions and supervise staff

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently

Comfortable in a hybrid work environment with consistent in-office presence
