Liability Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liability Claims Adjuster to join a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling bodily injury claims, particularly within the transportation and auto sectors, and possess specific experience working with municipalities, including school board associations, school districts, school buses, students, and parents. This role requires expertise in evaluating auto and bodily injury claims, determining settlements, and managing litigated files.

Responsibilities

  • Handle litigated files with a focus on transportation and auto-related claims.
  • Manage claims involving municipalities, including school board associations, school districts, and related entities.
  • Evaluate auto and bodily injury claims to determine appropriate settlements.
  • Exercise settlement authority within established guidelines.
  • Manage a caseload and oversee litigation percentages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient claims resolution.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in handling bodily injury claims, specifically within the transportation and auto sectors.
  • Proven experience working with municipalities, including school-related entities.
  • Strong knowledge of settlement evaluation and authority processes.
  • Licensed in the state of Georgia (required); additional licensures are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in-office at least once a week
