Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Looking for a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a small, independent insurance agency.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business.
  • Handle renewals, quoting, cross-selling, and policy changes.
  • Provide exceptional client service, including Certificates of Insurance (COI) and addressing client inquiries.
  • Collaborate with carriers such as Mercury and Travelers.
  • Utilize Epic software for account management.
  • Support the agency's growth by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional coverage.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in California.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years in personal lines insurance.
    • Familiarity with carriers such as Mercury and Travelers.
    • Experience with Epic software is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid environment.
  • Soft Skills: Personable, timely, and efficient.
