Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen positive relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage accounts for personal insurance lines, including home, auto, and umbrella policies, while addressing client inquiries, concerns, and coverage needs.
  • Review and assess client insurance requirements to provide customized recommendations that align with their needs and risk exposures.
  • Assist clients in policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and updates to ensure appropriate coverage is maintained.
  • Cross-sell and upsell insurance products and services to expand coverage and enhance value for clients.
  • Liaise between clients and insurance carriers to resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct account reviews to identify opportunities for service improvement and potential product gaps.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Stay informed on the latest insurance products, services, and industry regulations to provide clients with up-to-date and informed advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, enhance workflows, and meet company goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in personal insurance, customer service, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products, policies, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Sales aptitude with the ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Proficiency in agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
