President – Independent Insurance Agency
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and experienced President to lead a well-established, independent insurance agency with a strong reputation for excellence and growth. This role is a unique opportunity for a proven insurance executive to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and leadership development within a thriving organization. The President will oversee all aspects of the agency's operations, ensuring financial performance, fostering strong relationships with carriers and partners, and championing a culture of accountability and success.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $250,000
- Bonus: Performance-based
- Work Schedule: 4 days per week in-office
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the agency.
- Oversee full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing profitability.
- Lead and develop senior leadership, directly managing Sales Leaders, VP of Finance, VP of Operations, Training Team, and Marketing Team
- Supervise and guide a team of 85+ employees.
- Drive sales development and growth strategy, including producer performance, pipeline management, and market expansion.
- Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to enhance operational and sales performance.
- Lead and maintain senior-level carrier negotiations and relationships.
- Serve as the primary executive interface with real estate presidents and strategic partners.
- Foster a culture of accountability, leadership development, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance, risk management, and adherence to operational best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven senior executive leadership experience within an independent insurance agency or a closely related insurance environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing P&L, driving growth initiatives, and leading complex organizations.
- Strong expertise in sales leadership, analytics, and performance management.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with insurance carriers.
- Track record as a leader of leaders, with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold executives accountable.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on execution and results.
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
