Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting account managers, assisting with account servicing, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Account Managers in preparing insurance proposals and presentations for clients
  • Review insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to clients, handling policy inquiries and changes
  • Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Coordinate with internal teams and insurance carriers to ensure timely and accurate processing of client requests
  • Maintain client files and documents in compliance with agency and carrier guidelines
  • Support Account Managers in identifying opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional coverage

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
  • Previous experience handling Construction accounts - highly preferred
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry as an assistant account manager or similar role
  • Highly preferred agency management system experience: EPIC
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support Account Managers in meeting client needs
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $75K-$82K (based on experience)
