Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Team Lead to join our insurance agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of commercial lines Account Executives, providing guidance and support to ensure team success
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the commercial lines department, including workflow, training, and performance evaluation
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, providing expert advice and solutions to meet their insurance needs
• Collaborate with other team leads and management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and client retention
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on Business Owners Policy (BOP) and Property lines
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an insurance agency or brokerage setting
• Strong understanding of AMS 360 and/or Hawksoft, with the ability to leverage these systems to streamline workflow and improve efficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members

Day-to-day

• Lead team meetings to discuss goals, strategies, and performance metrics
• Review and approve policy quotes, endorsements, and renewals submitted by the team
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities and enhance client relationships
• Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members
• Act as a point of contact for escalated client inquiries or complex policy issues
