Commercial Client Executive

 

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients in the large market segment.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level executives within client organizations.
    • Understand clients' business strategies and risk management needs.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic account plans to address clients' long-term insurance and risk management objectives.
    • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for expanding insurance coverage and services.
  • Risk Analysis and Consultation:
    • Conduct in-depth risk assessments for large market clients, analyzing complex insurance needs.
    • Provide strategic risk management advice and consult on the development of comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Policy Design and Negotiation:
    • Work closely with underwriters to design customized insurance programs tailored to meet clients' specific requirements.
    • Negotiate policy terms, conditions, and pricing to achieve optimal coverage for clients.
  • Contract Reviews:
    • Review and analyze client contracts to identify potential insurance exposures.
    • Provide recommendations for contractual risk transfer and risk allocation strategies.
  • Claims Advocacy:
    • Act as a dedicated advocate for clients during the claims process, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
    • Collaborate with claims specialists to manage complex and high-value claims.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct financial analyses to assess the impact of insurance programs on clients' budgets and financial performance.
    • Provide financial reporting and analysis to clients on a regular basis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, risk engineering, and legal, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
    • Work closely with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Market Knowledge:
    • Stay informed about market trends, insurance products, and emerging risks affecting the large market segment.
    • Provide market insights and updates to clients.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
    • Stay abreast of changes in legislation and regulatory frameworks impacting large market clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Extensive experience as a Commercial Account Manager, with a focus on serving large market clients.
    • Proven success in managing and growing client portfolios.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management strategies, especially in the large market segment.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
    • Proven ability to lead complex client negotiations.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills:
    • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present complex insurance concepts to senior-level executives.
    • Proficient in preparing and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing complex risk scenarios and designing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Technology Proficiency:
    • Proficient in using insurance management software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
