Commercial Insurance Producer - Hybrid
Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated Commercial Insurance Producer to help drive new business, develop strong client relationships, and provide tailored commercial insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry outreach
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Understand clients’ business needs to recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Prepare and present insurance proposals, quotes, and renewal strategies
- Collaborate with account managers and the marketing team for smooth client onboarding and service
- Stay informed on market trends, underwriting guidelines, and carrier appetites
- Represent the agency at networking events and community functions
- Meet or exceed sales production and client retention goals
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance sales
- Active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty license required
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages (GL, WC, Property, Auto, Umbrella, etc.)
- Proven track record of new business development and client acquisition
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-starter with a goal-driven mindset and high level of professionalism
- Familiarity with agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS360) and rating platforms preferred
