Commercial Lines Account Manager (Remote)

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join the close-knit, family-owned insurance agency. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 (higher compensation available for candidates not requiring benefits)
Responsibilities
- Manage a $1M+ book of business, focusing on small to mid-sized accounts (up to $400K in premium).
- Service accounts across various industries, including construction, hospitality, real estate, and parking garages.
- Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates, and other client service needs.
- Occasionally assist with marketing efforts for new business opportunities.
- Work with top carriers such as Travelers, Hartford, and Chubb to provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Utilize the EPIC agency management system to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to ensure high client retention (94-95% retention rate).
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC agency management system is a must.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with lines of coverage such as workers' compensation, general liability, commercial auto, and management liability.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Preferred: Experience with the California insurance market and industries such as construction, hospitality, and real estate.
