Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager specializing in Builders Risk to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the continuous growth and retention of commercial insurance business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of Builders Risk clients by effectively communicating with them, understanding their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, responding to inquiries, providing guidance on insurance coverages, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate terms, prepare submissions, and secure appropriate insurance coverage for clients
  • Analyze client risk exposure, develop risk management strategies, and explore opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions, and use this knowledge to advise clients and drive business growth
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, workflows, and customer service practices to enhance the overall client experience

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of builders risk, inland marine, property, and equipment/installation insurance - required
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management, with a focus on Builders Risk insurance
  • Proven track record of effectively managing client relationships and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverages, and underwriting processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, such as AMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license

Compensation Package:

  • Compensation: Between $75k-$90k (based on experience)
