Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to handle full-service management of a book of business, with a primary focus on renewals and client servicing. This role requires a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an independent agency environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full A-Z servicing for an assigned commercial lines book of business.
- Manage renewals and proactively remarket accounts as needed.
- Quote and issue both new and renewal business policies.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and ensure compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate regularly with clients via phone, email, SMS, and in-person meetings.
- Review and respond to all incoming client correspondence and requests.
- Support account rounding efforts by adding new lines of coverage, including Life policies.
- Utilize CRM and agency management tools effectively for tracking and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial lines experience.
- Previous experience in an independent agency setting preferred.
- Insurance designations are a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Proficiency with technology, including CRM and agency management systems.
- Demonstrated adaptability, accountability, and attention to detail.
