Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager

 

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to handle full-service management of a book of business, with a primary focus on renewals and client servicing. This role requires a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an independent agency environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full A-Z servicing for an assigned commercial lines book of business.
  • Manage renewals and proactively remarket accounts as needed.
  • Quote and issue both new and renewal business policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and ensure compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with clients via phone, email, SMS, and in-person meetings.
  • Review and respond to all incoming client correspondence and requests.
  • Support account rounding efforts by adding new lines of coverage, including Life policies.
  • Utilize CRM and agency management tools effectively for tracking and documentation.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Active Property & Casualty license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial lines experience.
  • Previous experience in an independent agency setting preferred.
  • Insurance designations are a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including CRM and agency management systems.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, accountability, and attention to detail.
