Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to managing and servicing a commercial renewal book of business, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry, specifically within an independent agency, and possess the ability to handle all aspects of account management, including quoting, remarketing, and renewals.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a commercial renewal book of business, ranging from small BOPs to larger surplus carrier renewals
  • Handle Certificates of Insurance (COIs), reshops, and the renewal process for both standard market and surplus lines
  • Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Attend client appointments generated by the commercial lead service and manage leads from start to finish
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an independent insurance agency
  • Proven ability to service, quote, remarket, and handle the renewal process for commercial accounts
  • Familiarity with Hawksoft software is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sales experience is a plus, as the role includes some sales components
