Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a full-service independent insurance agency specializing in professional liability and medical malpractice coverage. This role is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a strong emphasis on professional liability for clients such as physician offices and legal professionals. The position requires a service-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client support.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, with bonus potential.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid model – 2 days in-office, 3 days remote (more in-office presence required during initial training).
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a focus on professional liability and medical malpractice insurance.
- Handle all aspects of account servicing, including issuing ID cards, processing endorsements, certificates, and binders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Utilize agency management software (Epic preferred) to maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing commercial lines accounts.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred.
- Experience with professional liability and medical malpractice insurance is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using agency management software; experience with Epic is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be comfortable with a hybrid work schedule and willing to be in-office more frequently during the training period.
