Commercial Lines Account Manager (AM1)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager (AM1) to join a team. This role involves managing a book of business for emerging producers, focusing on a variety of accounts including small construction, bars, restaurants, manufacturing, and institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits:

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with account sizes ranging from $50,000 to $200,000.
  • Handle generalist accounts, including small construction, bars, restaurants, manufacturing, and institutions.
  • Quote new and renewal business as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members and producers to achieve organizational goals.
  • Utilize TAM software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in commercial insurance is a must.
  • Proficiency in TAM software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be located in the Midwest region if applying for a remote position.
