Job Title: Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR)

 

Job Summary:
The Commercial Insurance CSR provides essential service and support functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the agency. This position is responsible for assisting clients with day-to-day service needs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and comfortable navigating various systems and technology platforms.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service support via phone and email, addressing policy questions, changes, and billing inquiries.
  • Assist with policy servicing tasks such as endorsements, certificates of insurance, and renewal processing.
  • Maintain organized client files and documentation in agency management systems.
  • Support producers and account managers with administrative duties and follow-ups.
  • Ensure high-quality service and prompt response times for client requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service issues efficiently.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
  • 1-2 years of commercial insurance customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using agency management systems and related technology.
