Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring excellent service delivery, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial lines coverage and have a proven ability to anticipate and meet client needs proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Assess client needs and provide recommendations for coverage solutions to meet their business requirements.
  • Prepare and review insurance policy renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance to ensure accuracy and proper coverage.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to handle policy changes, claims, and other service-related matters.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients and expand offerings through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and recommendations.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development initiatives as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in the agency management system to ensure compliance and proper documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial lines account management, account executive, or a related insurance role.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and industry practices.
  • Current and valid Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Demonstrated skills in client management, relationship building, and communication.
  • Superior organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
