Job Summary
As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. You will develop strong relationships with clients and work to understand their insurance needs, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of commercial insurance business, including policy renewals, endorsements, and new business submissions
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products to meet clients' needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their businesses and insurance requirements
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate and place coverage for clients
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes to insurance products, regulations, and coverage options
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
- Previous experience handling construction accounts is required
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Previous client-facing experience is required
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policy language
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
