Personal Lines Account Manager

Seeking a talented and dynamic Personal Lines Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service in the personal lines insurance sector. Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing personalized service and addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and policy reviews to clients.
  • Work closely with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate coverage terms.
  • Stay updated on insurance industry trends and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling of additional products.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a focus on account management.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and coverage options.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in agency management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

 

Day-to-Day

  • Engage with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to address their insurance needs.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless client service and account management.
  • Research and stay informed on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
  • Leverage agency management software to maintain accurate client records and policy documentation.
  • Participate in industry events and training sessions to continuously strengthen personal lines insurance knowledge.
