Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of small market accounts, providing exceptional service, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000+ (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a book of commercial business, handling a diverse range of account sizes.
  • Handle all aspects of account management, including endorsements, certificates, renewals, and quoting new/renewal business.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for marketing and accounting support.
  • Provide proactive and responsive service to clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using Applied Epic software.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial insurance experience. Candidates with Assistant Account Manager experience looking to transition into this role are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, accountable, proactive, and engaged.
