Commercial Lines Account Manager

 

Job Summary
A well-established, family-owned insurance agency with over 3 decades of success is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

 

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 annually (based on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day servicing of a commercial lines book of business, including issuing certificates, processing endorsements, and handling renewals
  • Assist with quoting new and renewal business, depending on experience level
  • Prepare proposals for clients (presentation of proposals not required)
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including accounting and loss run/cancellation teams
  • Learn and assist with marketing tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management software

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial lines insurance experience
  • Experience managing small market generalist accounts
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency with agency management software
