Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to supporting the marketing, servicing, and underwriting processes of Commercial Lines accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring accurate and timely processing of renewals, endorsements, and other account-related tasks. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 (DOE) with potential for an additional $5,000 for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of commercial lines business, including renewals, policy changes, billing, and day-to-day servicing.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
  • Support new business production efforts in collaboration with producers and account executives.
  • Evaluate client risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Coordinate and process policy documents, including binders, ID cards, insurance summaries, and certificates.
  • Handle client billing, including invoicing, reconciling account discrepancies, and tracking outstanding payments.
  • Participate in client and carrier meetings as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Required:
    • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
    • Proactive problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Preferred:
    • 3+ years of experience with commercial lines insurance.
    • Familiarity with agency workflows and management systems (e.g., Applied Epic).
    • Understanding of agency workflows and procedures.
