Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) with expertise in both Commercial Lines (CL) and Personal Lines (PL) insurance. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of accounts, providing exceptional service, and contributing to the growth of the agency through cross-selling opportunities.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, including both Commercial Lines (small to middle market) and Personal Lines (standard and high-net-worth accounts)
  • Provide end-to-end servicing of accounts, including quoting new and renewal business
  • Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities to enhance client relationships and grow the book of business
  • Utilize the Epic software system for account management (experience with Epic is a plus)
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of client interactions and transactions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines insurance
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance software (Epic preferred) and general tech-savviness
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, driven, detail-oriented, and excellent communication abilities
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus
