Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of accounts, including contractors, manufacturing, restaurants, and generalist businesses.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Work Environment: On-site position at our Arlington Heights, IL office

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a diverse book of commercial lines accounts, including contractors, manufacturing, restaurants, and generalist businesses.
  • Handle quoting for new and renewal business, with a focus on renewals (approximately 75%).
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client retention.
  • Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best possible advice and solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial lines account management, preferably with small shop experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills.
    • A proactive, Type A personality with a strong work ethic.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
    • Stability in career history (non-job-hopping).
