Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic and friendly team. This role involves managing a diverse book of business, providing exceptional service to clients, and contributing to the growth and success of the organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage a full book of business independently. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely 90% of the time, with occasional in-office meetings.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually (up to $90,000 for exceptional candidates, depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business valued at over $1.5 million, with accounts ranging from $5,000 to $500,000.
- Handle claims and payment assistance for clients.
- Conduct policy renewals, coverage reviews, pricing, and delivery.
- Support new business sales, including sourcing, quote preparation, and presentation.
- Prepare Acord and application forms.
- Manage inbound and outbound sales and service phone calls.
- Perform data entry and maintain records in the Applied Systems Epic agency management system.
- Collaborate with MGAs and underwriters to ensure optimal client solutions.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily tasks.
- Participate in occasional in-office meetings (approximately 8 times per year).
- Take on additional responsibilities and learn new skills as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a strong background in surplus lines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Applied Systems Epic is preferred.
