Job Summary

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. You will work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide exceptional customer service, while also collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients
  • Analyze client risks and exposures, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support business development efforts
  • Handle client inquiries, claims, and policy changes in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare insurance proposals, quotes, and renewal documentation
  • Ensure all client information and transactions are accurately documented in the agency management system

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry
  • At least 5 years of relevant insurance industry experience
  • Previous experience handling middle- to large-market accounts – required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
