Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Middle Market Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of middle market commercial lines accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving growth and retention within the assigned book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of middle market commercial lines accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Understand clients' needs and provide tailored insurance solutions and risk management advice
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are met
  • Drive growth and retention within the assigned book of business
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory updates
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation and reports

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, preferably in the middle market segment
  • Knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products and coverages
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
