Overview

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. The ideal candidate will have strong account management skills and be proficient in AMS software, preferably Hawksoft. This position will involve working with a variety of personal lines insurance products, including high net worth and standard policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal lines accounts, including high net worth and standard policies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing exceptional service
  • Process new business, endorsements, and renewals with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure coverage for clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and underwriting guidelines to provide informed advice to clients
  • Assist in resolving client inquiries, issues, and claims in a timely and empathetic manner
  • contribute to the growth and retention of the personal lines book of business
  • Uphold company standards and compliance requirements while delivering top-notch service

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry
  • Proficiency in AMS software, preferably Hawksoft
  • In-depth knowledge of personal lines insurance, including high net worth and standard policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance is a plus

Day-to-day

  • Communicating with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Analyzing coverage options and providing recommendations to clients
  • Processing policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
  • Collaborating with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
  • Staying updated on industry trends and product offerings
  • Providing exceptional service and support to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns
