Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join a growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts while delivering exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial account management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building lasting client relationships. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days in-office each week.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $92,000 - $97,000 annually

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a high-volume book of insurance business, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to foster loyalty and trust.
  • Handling renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of market trends, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
  • Reviewing applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Coordinating expiration lists with the department manager to secure renewal business information.

Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Commercial Account Management.
  • Active Property & Casualty License (required).
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software (preferred).
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and problem-solve.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
