Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to manage a high-volume book of commercial insurance business, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding organization. The position offers a hybrid work environment, with three days per week in the office.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually (depending on experience)
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
- Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week)
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing a high-volume book of commercial insurance business, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service, advocacy, and professional communication.
- Handling renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of market trends, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
- Reviewing applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
- Coordinating expiration lists with the department manager to obtain renewal business information.
Qualifications/Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Account Management.
- Active Property & Casualty License (required).
- Valid driver’s license and insurance (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software (preferred).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently while collaborating with team members.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
