Cyber and Executive Risk Claims Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking for a highly skilled and motivated Cyber and Executive Risk Claims Specialist to join a growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in building and shaping a claims group from the ground up. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work arrangement, with occasional travel required.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000 (commensurate with experience)
- 401(k): Comprehensive retirement plan available
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned claims, including coverage analysis, investigation, incident response, evaluation, reserving, coordination of counsel and vendors, and claim resolution.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, coverage counsel, and other response vendors to explain claims processes and coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance on claims handling and contribute to the development of a robust claims reporting system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless claims management and resolution.
- Participate in occasional travel for meetings, client visits, or claim reviews (approximately 6-8 times per year).
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience handling cyber and/or executive risk claims (5-10 years preferred).
- Prior experience in law, insurance, or brokerage is highly desirable.
- Strong relationships with carriers, law firms, FBI, and other relevant agencies/vendors.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with AMS360 and Imageright software is a plus.
- Licenses: Appropriate insurance licenses required or ability to obtain them.
