Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to supporting the key accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate with a sense of urgency in a client-facing environment. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance between in-office and remote work.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts
- Collaborate with Senior Account Executives to support key accounts
- Manage a book of business with approximately 350 clients
- Assist with open enrollment processes and meeting preparation
- Work closely with Account Coordinators or Specialists to handle backend tasks such as RFPs and RFQs
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships
- Operate with a sense of urgency and professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as an Employee Benefits Account Manager
- Proficiency in software systems such as Zywave or Broker Builder
- Strong knowledge of the local market and carrier experience
- Experience working with public sector clients, specifically school districts, is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, results-focused environment
