Employee Benefits Account Manager (Floating Role)

Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This is a unique floating role, providing support across various teams as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, exceptional client management skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse group accounts. This position offers a hybrid work environment after an initial in-office period and is open to candidates from any office location.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $87,000 per year (based on experience).
  • Additional Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) after the initial 2-3 months of in-office training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of client accounts, primarily groups ranging from 150-500 lives.
  • Explain employee benefits plans and address client inquiries during enrollment periods.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Assist with quoting new and renewal business.
  • Utilize Applied EPIC software to manage accounts and documentation.
  • Adapt to the needs of different teams and provide support where required.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Life & Health (L&H) license is required.
  • Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in employee benefits, with a preference for candidates with self-funded benefits experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and client management abilities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work across various teams and adapt to different client needs.
