Employee Benefits Experience & Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Experience & Systems Analyst to join a growing team. In this role, you will support mid-market employee benefits clients by managing open enrollment communications, creating benefits education materials, and ensuring seamless HRIS system integrations between payroll, carriers, and benefits platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend benefits consulting, HRIS systems expertise, and employee engagement initiatives in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000
  • Benefits Offered: Competitive benefits package, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.
  • Work Schedule:
    • Flexible hybrid schedule: 1 day per week in-office, 4 days remote (some weeks may be fully remote)

Responsibilities

  • Support benefits administration for employer clients, including HRIS system builds, renewals, and mid-year plan updates.
  • Manage integrations between payroll systems, HRIS platforms, benefits administration platforms, and carriers.
  • Troubleshoot eligibility discrepancies, file feeds, and data issues.
  • Assist with open enrollment communication planning and the creation of employee education materials.
  • Prepare and coordinate benefits communication materials and enrollment documentation.
  • Support open enrollment meetings, wellness events, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education & Licensure:
    • Health & Life License required.
  • Experience:
    • 2–5+ years of employee benefits experience preferred.
    • Experience in employee benefits brokerage, benefits consulting, or benefits technology environments.
    • Familiarity with benefits administration systems, HRIS integrations, and eligibility feeds.
    • Self-funded benefits experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Excel.
    • Knowledge of benefits administration platforms, HRIS systems, and system connectivity.
    • Experience with software such as Zywave and BrokerageBuilder is a plus.
  • Attributes:
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.
