Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role involves managing small group accounts (2-100 lives) and working closely with 2-3 producers to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, particularly in handling fully insured medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits. This position will require in-office work for the first six months, transitioning to a hybrid schedule thereafter.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 annually

  • Work Arrangement: In-office for the first six months, then hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business for small group accounts (2-100 lives) across all lines of employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with producers to handle renewals, open enrollment, and marketing efforts.
  • Quote and process renewal business, with a primary focus on renewals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Utilize Epic software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Life and Health License is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing small group accounts in the employee benefits sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach to account management.
