General Liability Claims Adjuster
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Liability Claims Adjuster to join a team. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of claims, including litigated cases, for school districts across California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex claims, litigation management, and coverage investigations. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence three days a week.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 100-120 claims, with 80% being litigated cases.
- Handle claims related to school districts, including child sexual assault (50%), bullying, fighting, employment discrimination, and auto accidents.
- Conduct coverage investigations, including writing Reservation of Rights (ROR) letters and handling denials.
- Manage claims under the Government Tort Claims Act.
- Handle large loss claims and ensure proper litigation management.
- Collaborate with school districts and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a litigated claims desk.
- Strong understanding of complex claims and litigation management.
- Experience with coverage investigations, including writing ROR letters and handling denials.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive claims with professionalism and discretion.
- Familiarity with claims related to school districts is a plus but not required.
- Enthusiastic, professional demeanor with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
