Job Summary

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annually
  • Commission: 50% on new business and 50% on renewals
  • Benefits:
    • Medical coverage up to $600 (includes vision)
    • 401(k) eligibility starting January 1st of the year following hire
    • Paid Time Off (PTO): 1-2 weeks
  • Employment Type: W-2

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance accounts, including construction, restaurants, and auto industries.
  • Handle accounts with an average size of $10,000-$30,000 for commercial and $2,500-$5,000 for personal lines.
  • Allocate time effectively: 50% on new business development and 50% on renewals.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) for both personal and commercial lines.
  • Utilize carriers such as Erie, Travelers, Mutual Benefits, Progressive, Liberty, AIC, and Guard to quote and manage policies.
  • Leverage IMS software for account management and documentation.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Active P&C license is required.
  • Experience: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience in insurance sales and account management.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with IMS software is preferred.
