Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing and servicing a book of personal lines insurance accounts, including both standard and high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property and casualty insurance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. This position offers a hybrid work schedule after an initial training period.

Compensation Package

• Salary: Starting at $60,000+ annually, commensurate with experience.
• 401(k): Employer contributes 100% of compensation up to 3%, plus 50% of compensation from 3-5%.
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available after a 90-day probationary period.
• Work Schedule: Hybrid - Initial training is primarily in-office for up to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support producers in an account management role.
• Directly interact with clients, producers, and company underwriters.
• Manage existing accounts, including day-to-day servicing.
• Process quotes, renewals, and issue policies.
• Prepare proposals for client presentations.
• Handle claims processing and certificate/endorsement issuance.
• Articulate and communicate coverage details effectively to clients.
• Quote new and renewal business, with a primary focus on renewals.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in an independent insurance agency (captive agency experience not applicable).
• Software: Experience with AMS360 preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.
• Soft Skills: Low-key, professional demeanor with the ability to thrive in a no-drama, collaborative work environment.
