Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a high-volume book of personal lines insurance business, ensuring exceptional client service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in personal lines insurance, a strong understanding of underwriting guidelines, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with the possibility of being fully remote for highly qualified candidates.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
  • 401(k): Yes

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume book of personal lines insurance business, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering loyalty through excellent service and professional communication.
  • Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policy processing.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance markets, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
  • Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Conduct loss/claim analysis and prepare summaries.
  • Coordinate expiration lists with the department manager to secure renewal business information.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Epic software preferred but not required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
