Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with clients while managing their personal lines insurance accounts. Primary responsibilities include providing exceptional service, advising clients on insurance needs, and ensuring all client accounts are managed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Evaluate client needs and provide personalized recommendations on insurance products and coverage options.
  • Process policy changes, renewals, claims, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to ensure policies align with client needs and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines throughout all client interactions.
  • Provide quotes and policy comparisons to prospective and existing customers to support their insurance decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and insurance carriers.
  • Continuously educate yourself on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product updates to provide the most up-to-date and relevant advice.
  • Participate in team-training initiatives to expand knowledge of insurance products and systems.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Customer Service Representative, or similar role, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and insurance-specific software.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
