Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Looking for a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000–$65,000

Responsibilities

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of personal lines accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle account renewals, remarket accounts, and write new business for existing clients.
  • Address and resolve client concerns, including navigating conversations about rate increases.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and account management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow accounts and enhance client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably within an independent agency.
  • Skills:
    • Strong client management and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
    • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a book of business in need of process improvement and client engagement.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work.
  • Licensure/Designations: Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with agency management software and tools.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, confident, and capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
