Personal Lines Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Agent to join an established and growing insurance agency. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding a book of business, focusing on home, auto, umbrella, standard personal lines, and high-net-worth accounts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative and competitive environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in sales and client relationship management. This is an in-office position located in Palm Beach, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually + commission
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets by closing 30-40 policies per month.
- Manage and renew 200-250 policies monthly.
- Handle inbound leads and build relationships with referral sources to drive business growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
- Quote new and renewal business using Agency Zoom and Nowcerts software.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active 2-20 or 20-44 license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an independent agency. Experience with Brightway or Goosehead is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agency Zoom and Nowcerts software.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport, polished professionalism, goal-oriented mindset, and a collaborative attitude.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
