Private Client Advisor
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Advisor to join a Personal Insurance Division. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing sales strategies to attract and retain high-net-worth clients. As a Private Client Advisor, you will have the opportunity to take ownership, innovate, and make a significant impact within the Personal Insurance Department. You will assess client risks, provide tailored insurance solutions, and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Drive growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new high-value accounts that meet Private Client criteria to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
- Conduct comprehensive needs-based assessments to recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
- Present and explain options, benefits, and pricing to potential clients.
- Continuously enhance knowledge through professional development and leverage internal expertise and tools to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders to foster teamwork and organizational success.
- Maintain accurate client records in the Agency Management System and complete all necessary documentation for new policies.
- Ensure a seamless transition for hand-off to the Private Client Account Manager and collaborate with the Account Servicing team to maintain client relationships and ensure account retention.
- Stay informed on industry trends, carrier products, and changes in coverage options.
- Attend community events, networking groups, and industry functions to expand influence and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Build and maintain relationships with Centers of Influence, such as real estate agents, wealth managers, mortgage brokers, car dealerships, jewelers, art galleries, and other referral sources.
- Identify target industries or market segments to focus on network building, prospecting, and developing specialized knowledge of common coverage situations and industry trends.
- Proactively identify and coordinate cross-selling opportunities with other departments, such as Employee Benefits and Commercial Insurance.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education:
- Associate degree or equivalent education and experience required.
Experience:
- Prior experience in Private Client personal lines insurance sales.
- Familiarity with major Private Client insurance carriers, underwriting guidelines, and experience using CRM and lead generation tools.
Licensure:
- Current Property & Casualty insurance license.
Skills and Abilities:
- Compliance with continuing education requirements for agent licensing and professional designations.
- Strong understanding of risk management for high-net-worth clients.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to assess risk and recommend appropriate coverages and solutions.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as knowledge of Agency Management Systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
