Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is a critical part of our organization, responsible for managing a diverse book of business and ensuring exceptional service to the clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to independently manage accounts, handle marketing, process endorsements, and provide proactive communication. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a collaborative and professional team.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 annually
- Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
- 401(k): 3% employer contribution
- Benefits:
- 90% of employee health insurance costs covered
- 2-3 weeks of PTO plus 1 week of sick leave
- Work Environment: Fully remote (equipment provided)
Responsibilities
- Manage a $5M book of business, including accounts ranging from $500 to $500,000 in premium.
- Handle a variety of account types, including contractors, hospitality (hotels and restaurants), apartment complexes, and retail businesses.
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process endorsements, policy changes, and other account-related tasks independently.
- Conduct marketing efforts to support account growth and retention.
- Provide proactive and clear communication with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other account managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role; 7-10 years preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is required.
