Senior Field Loss Control Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Loss Control Representative to join a team. This role involves conducting on-site loss control surveys, underwriting evaluations, and providing expert guidance to policyholders and agency partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction risk assessment, workplace safety, and air quality testing. This position requires extensive travel throughout Southern New Jersey and the Tri-State Area, with the flexibility to work from home when not in the field.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $137,000 annually + bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site loss control surveys and underwriting evaluations to assess potential hazards.
  • Prepare detailed loss control reports and provide recommendations to policyholders to mitigate risks.
  • Investigate accidents and collaborate with policyholders to improve safety measures.
  • Communicate available loss prevention services to policyholders and agency partners.
  • Attend safety meetings and represent the company in professional settings.
  • Develop, enhance, and deliver training programs focused on loss prevention.
  • Travel extensively within Southern New Jersey and the Tri-State Area, with occasional travel to Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a safety-related field with a focus on construction risk.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of workplace safety and nationally recognized standards and codes.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Certifications:
    • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) strongly preferred.
    • OHST (Occupational Health and Safety) certification preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in air quality testing and construction risk assessment preferred.
  • Additional certifications in safety and industrial hygiene preferred.
