Job description
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer to join our technology team and support the design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise-scale insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, with hands-on experience in configuration, integration, rating, and business rules. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects that directly impact operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and enhance Guidewire applications using GOSU, with a focus on UI components, product model, business rules, and integrations.

Build and implement SOAP/REST-based integrations with third-party services and internal systems.

Develop rating models and underwriting rules tailored to evolving business needs.

Implement Guidewire messaging, batch processes, plug-ins, and APIs to ensure seamless system communication.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, architects, and stakeholders within an Agile environment.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reusable assets.

Provide development support during testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience.

Proficiency in GOSU, Java, and Guidewire Studio across multiple modules.

Strong background building integrations and configuring rating engines.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments and using tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Postman.

Familiarity with insurance domain concepts, including policy administration, billing, and claims workflows.
Preferred Certifications
Guidewire certifications are highly desirable, particularly in configuration, integration, UI, rating, and rules development.
