Commercial Senior Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Senior Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing an established book of accounts, working directly with clients and carriers, and providing support for new business development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Senior Account Management and possess a strong understanding of commercial insurance practices.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage an established book of business, maintaining strong client and carrier relationships.
  • Support the development of new business opportunities.
  • Initiate and participate in the renewal process, including Renewal Strategy meetings.
  • Prepare submissions, including loss exhibits, and assist in marketing accounts.
  • Develop proposals for new business and renewals, including binding, invoicing, and documentation.
  • Review insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy.
  • Prepare correspondence and insurance schedules.
  • Handle certificate requests and evidence of property, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on company automation systems.
  • Utilize web-based and other systems for rating, research, and carrier inquiries.
  • Provide support during the claims process, including accepting and communicating notices of claims.
  • Perform receivables/collection activities, including cancellations and reinstatements.
  • Mentor and direct workflow for other team members.
  • Manage client relations for accounts not serviced directly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Senior Account Management within the commercial insurance industry.
  • Active 220 insurance license (required).
  • Proficiency in utilizing web-based systems and insurance software.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance practices and processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide team members.
