Sr. Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of clients' employee benefits programs, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations related to their employee benefits programs
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, strategize on benefit offerings, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Oversee the implementation and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of client programs to identify opportunities for enhancement and cost containment
- Support clients in compliance matters, staying abreast of regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to legal requirements
- Lead client meetings and presentations, nurturing strong relationships and driving retention
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, underwriting, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior account management staff, fostering their professional development
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience with various funding arrangements including fully insured, level funded, and self funded
- Proven experience in employee benefits account management, with a focus on client relationship management and program administration
- 4+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of employee benefits products, compliance regulations, and industry trends
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example
