Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a team in a hybrid role. This position offers an excellent opportunity to manage and resolve workers' compensation claims while ensuring compliance with state regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of Utah Workers' Compensation laws, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve workers' compensation disability claims in compliance with Utah Workers' Compensation and Occupational Disease Acts.
  • Ensure adherence to the Utah Fair Claims Practices Act, Utah Labor Commission rules, and internal claims standards.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, evaluate claims, and determine appropriate resolutions.
  • Communicate effectively with claimants, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims and related documentation.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation disability adjusting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Utah Workers' Compensation and Occupational Disease Acts, Utah Fair Claims Practices Act, and Utah Labor Commission rules.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Strong communication, investigative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Multi-line claims experience (preferred).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (preferred).
