Role Overview
As a Commercial Claims Associate, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to managing and processing commercial lines claims. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in claims handling while contributing to the organization's success.
Key Responsibilities

Claims Management & Advocacy

Oversee all activities related to open claims, including establishing fixed diary dates, conducting reserve reviews, and ensuring timely resolution.

Collaborate with clients and insurance carriers to facilitate efficient claims processing.

Assist in the investigation of claims, assessing compensability and damages.

Maintain accurate documentation of claim activities within the agency's management system.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly claims status reports, including reserve tracking and trend analysis.

Provide updated claim reports to internal teams and clients upon request.

Client Support & Training

Implement and train clients on risk management system product offerings.

Serve as an in-house resource on claims matters for client service teams.

Advise clients on general queries and insurance issues, consulting with senior advocates when complex issues arise.

Relationship Management

Foster business relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Establish working relationships with adjusters and claims service partners to facilitate positive client outcomes.

Act as a liaison between clients and carriers or third-party administrators.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of experience in claims processing or client service roles.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
